2015 — Performance. Poet & Artist. Triptych “Cradles. Graves. People.”
This work was created during a performance based on the triptych poem “Cradles, Graves. People.” by Roman Mnatsakanov. It is a conceptual piece built on three selected visual signs. Cradles are represented by a horizontal line, graves by two intersecting lines (a cross), and people by a vertical line. The poem consists of three quatrains. During the live reading, three separate works were created — one for each part of the poem. These works were later fixed onto individual canvases.
The three canvases, each containing one visual image, were then arranged according to the sequence of the poem and nailed onto a new white canvas.
